We can arrange for your wedding celebrations to be a unique occasion and a weekend to remember and cherish.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park our cottages are surrounded by the open countryside and rolling hills of Derbyshire to give you wonderful opportunities for the most dramatic backdrops to your wedding photos.

At Hulmes Vale Farm Cottages we have two large cottages which have been converted from a Derbyshire Stone Longhouse.  The cottages offer sleeping for up to 30 people and have large open plan areas ideal for large gatherings but also smaller more intimate rooms for the quiet moments.

We now have available approx one acre of flat level ground to the side of Hulmes Vale Farm Cottages.  In an elevated position it  commands stunning views of the open countryside, it is available to guests for the erecting of a marquee if needed, or it can be used as additional camping.

We do not have our own wedding licence but can give details of local registrary offices, venues etc, or in the nearby picturesque villages there are many stunning churches.    We also have contact details for Humanist ministers who are happy to perform a ceremony at our cottages designed around your ideas and wishes.  Please contact Richard Aldridge on 01246 220284 or visit www.humanistminister.co.uk for further details.

To help you with the enormous job of organising a wedding we have details of local marquee firms, mobile bar hire, linen hire, florists, cake makers, caterers, photographers etc and are more than happy to help you with any aspects of the wedding that you may need.

If you need transport to and from the wedding venue we know many local transport  firms and have companies on our books who can offer you travel with a difference.

As many celebrations are booked up to a year in advance you are more than welcome to visit us to discuss your requirements and have a full viewing of the cottages and surrounding land, but please phone in the first instance to arrange a suitable date and time.  If you arrive without an appointment we cannot guarantee to show you around as we may already have guests staying.
